The Constitution

World University Service (WUS) is an agency registered under Article 60 of the Swiss in 1920 under the title “European Student Relief” which was renamed “World University Service” in 1950. Today, it has network of national committees in 60 countries.

WUS facilitates involvement of academics and students in international programmers and activities. It strives to involve those having access to higher education in a partnership with poor and underprivileged and promotes them to work jointly for social justice, human dignity and freedom. WUS also enjoys a consultative Status with several United Nations Agencies.
